Green Neko was born from resilience.
At the heart of Green Neko is Zerina — a passionate food curator and quiet visionary who spent years travelling across the globe with her husband, an IT professional. In every city, she took in local food cultures, from the street food of Southeast Asia to the health-forward cafés of the West.
Eventually, the family settled in Paris and raised their daughter in the City of Light. Life there brought difficult seasons, including illness and depression. In search of healing, belonging and a renewed sense of purpose, Zerina returned to Delhi, where her brother had a café space that had been closed for two years during and after the Covid pandemic.
That quiet space became the foundation for a comeback and a dream. That is where Green Neko came to life.
Green Neko brought together modern Japanese café culture, thoughtful design and comforting food. It grew into more than a café: a place for connection, a mood-lifting pause, and a new take on Japanese-inspired dining in Delhi.
Zerina’s brother, a perfectionist in aesthetics and design, shaped the interiors and atmosphere. Her husband supports the business behind the scenes with automation, processes, management and IT systems.
Today, Zerina balances life between Paris and Delhi, family and her mission: to craft spaces that feel like joy, serve food that hits the soul, and build a brand people feel connected to.
Green Neko is a little world built to bring comfort, community and good energy to everyone who walks in.
